Brooks Architects

Brooks Architects was formed in 1981 and has operated continuously based in Ipswich and Norwich moving to Leiston in 2003. The practice flourished in the 1980s building houses, private and public housing and a variety of health, education, retail, industrial and office projects. After the industry contraction of the early 90s the practice reduced scale and targeted special needs housing and medical projects. We now work from our Suffolk base all over East Anglia and London area with special projects taking our principal overseas looking at housing and commercial developments for our existing clients.

The workload of the practice has broadened in the last few years to include commercial, residential and social sectors, our current work load includes:

  3. Multi use Social Services Centre in the City of London
  4. Surgery & Library in Dagenham.
  5. Conversion of commercial office building into mixed residential, Leiston
  6. New build residential in Leiston
  7. Large scale domestic extensions and renovations.
  8. Conversion and extensions to a former brewery in Essex to create a retirement village of 48 residential units and 46 Care home rooms.
